Three Flags

These pieces are stitched in the tradition of Vodou drapo, or flags.  Usually flags show lwa (deities) whose images are often merged with those of Catholic Saints.  Using photographs and screenshots digitally printed on fabric,these flags are of everyday people, who themselves might be lwa.
