Glacier Graveyard

These ice headstones represent 15 of the thousands of the glaciers that have already been lost, or that will soon be lost, to anthropogenic climate change. They were first installed in Seltjarnarnes, Iceland on August 17, 2024 as part of a glacier funeral ceremony.
