The Sun Never Sets

The Sun Never Sets is a riposte to a 1954 British archival film promoting travel to its colony, Trinidad. Layering nineteenth- and early twentieth-century photographs, found footage, and audio excerpts, the piece reflects on the production of “imperial innocence,” silenced histories, and the ongoing resistance of Caribbean peoples.
